Wyld Woman Goes Bush

A radical life changing story of how a woman walks away from her 'norm' seeking ancient knowledge first from the Aboriginal Australians and then finding her path being steered towards Tibetan Buddhism.

Traditional Owners and Dreamtime Stories

I feel very blessed on this journey.

I’ve had the honour to meet Traditional Owners (brother and sister) Uncle Lawrence and Aunty Kitty from the Dulgulburra Yindingi people in Yungabarra. It was a quick cuppa, as time permitted, but I’ve been welcomed back at a later date to sit with them both on their land and listen to their stories.

(At this stage I’m unsure if I can post their pic here… so you’ll have to imagine) 🙂

I’ve also had the great honour to meet Allan Hastie at the Mareeba Information Centre. This particular morning was certainly a blessed one as Allan told me some amazing stories of his people and their journey. If you go there you’ll see original photos of his family, view the Indigenous artefacts and hear some amazing stories.
